CGM Education
and Setup
During this appointment, we educate you on how your CGM works and how to use it. If you have a compatible cell phone, you'll be able to get your glucose readings through an app. We help you download and set up the app, as well as apply the first sensor.
We often prescribe both Libre 2s and 3s as well as Dexcom G6s and G7s.
Duration: 30-45 minutes
Eversense 365 Implantable CGM
Eversense is the first implantable CGM sensor that lasts up to 12 months. Insertion does require an incision, but it is very small. Dr. Brill is professionally trained to perform the insertion, removal, and reinsertion procedures.
We are the first and only office in Kentucky trained to perform the Eversense procedures.
Duration: 30-60 minutes
