Who We Are
Dr. Brian Brill founded Tele-Medicine Housecalls and began seeing diabetic patients in 2020. Since then, Tele-Medicine Housecalls has been transformed into the Sugar Doctor. We will still offer telemedicine services, it's just not the main reason we're here. We felt this new name would better represent who we are and who we care for.
What We Stand For
We are solely devoted to diabetes and diabetic care. We take pride in our personalized visits with a doctor who cares about you and who takes the time to listen to your concerns.
Not only can we help you with your diabetes, but we also help manage diabetic complications like obesity, neuropathy, nephropathy, and more. We work with other nearby providers to ensure you get the care you need.
How We Can Help
We base our care on your specific needs, taking into account your medical history and lifestyle.
Most diabetic patients are on some type of medicine. Dr. Brill has expert knowledge on diabetic medications and always chooses the safest and most effective drugs for his patients. We take the time to educate our patients on each medicine we prescribe, including the purpose of the drug and the common side effects associated with it.

Meet Our Staff
Diabetologist
Dr. Brian C. Brill Jr., D.O.
Brian graduated from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in 2011. He is an American Diabetes Association member and a sub-specialist in Advanced Diabetes Management. He is also a diabetic himself.
Office Manager
Cathy B
Cathy has a Bachelor's degree in human resources. She oversees the completion of all financial and administrative tasks. Cathy is very knowledgeable about diabetes as she herself is a diabetic.
Medical Coder and Biller
Sarah S, CPC / CPB
Sarah is an AAPC member and is certified in medical coding and billing. Although she works remotely, she handles most patient and insurance issues, answers phones, and manages our social media accounts.
Receptionist
Elizabeth J
Elizabeth is our in-office receptionist who gets patients checked in, downloads patients' CGM data, and schedules follow-up appointments. She can relate to our patients since she is also diabetic.
